Job Description:
The interpreters will be working on an assignment for Language Line Solutions (LLS), providing On Demand
interpretation services. (E.g. Whenever someone is at a bank or doctor office and there is a language barrier
between someone who doesn’t Speak English and the worker, that worker will call in and will request an
interpreter over the phone, who will then interpret the conversation between both parties, so they can
communicate with each other).
Interpreter Task: Handle telephone calls, interpreting conversations between individuals with limited English
language skills and representatives from various industries such as Healthcare, Insurance, Financial, Law
Enforcement and others
This position is completely remote, you can work from anywhere in Canada. However, it is a requirement not to
work from abroad, you must work from Canada. The internet, the phone and headset, must be obtained and
maintained at your own expenses. Kelly Services does not pay for internet connection, nor provide a new
smart phone device.

Q. What are the most common calls?
A. Around 80% of the calls we receive are from medical field. As we receive a lot of calls from medical field, interpreters
are required to have strong communication skills. Training for this, and other fields will be provided.
Q. How and when will I get paid?
A. Your pay is electronically deposited directly into your bank account. The deposits are made weekly (Every Friday)
Q. If I don’t receive any calls, will I still get paid for that period of time?
A. Yes. The salary is based on the hours that you worked. Regardless of the number of calls you receive per day, or
amount of time you spend on each call.
Q. Does Kelly Services or Language Line provides health or dental benefits?
A. We do not provide health or dental plan. However, once you complete the first 3 months, you will be eligible for all
Kelly benefits mentioned above.
Q. When can I request my vacations?
A. You will be eligible for all Kelly benefits, including vacations, after your first 3 months of employment.
